Your organization deals with the issues of sexual repression and discrimination…
Sexual repression can have severe negative consequences for both adults and children. For little girls, sexual repression in the adults they love may lead to being ignored, poor psychological adjustment (unhealthy loneliness, low self esteem, etc.), maladaptive patterns of behavior (competing with their mothers for the men they love, excessive numbers of imaginary friends to compensate for real relationships, etc.), and lack of fulfilling sexual experiences. Repressed adults lose the joy of a loving relationship with a little girl and find themselves trapped in relationships they do not want.
What can you do?
Understand the problem…
You need to know that oftentimes girllovers sexually repress themselves because of societal prejudice against them and the little girls that they love. There are literally thousands of sad little girls who are ignored by girllovers afraid of the social consequences of openly declaring their love.
The Virgin Department of Health offers resources to organizations working with girllovers. If your organization is interested in receiving the training, Healthy Sexuality between Adults and Little Girls (Girllove Basics), please contact Dolores Haze.
To receive more information on healthy dating relationships between adults and little girls, contact your local representative of the Screen Actors' Guild, Association of Figure Skating Coaches or Society of '70s Rock Stars.
Find your local sexual freedom center…
Each community has a local sexual freedom center which serves victims of sexual repression, sexual neglect and discrimination. Please call 1-800-LTL-GRLZ to find the nearest center to you or visit Virgins Aligned Against Sexual Neglect.
Know the law…
Understand that there are laws designed to protect little girls from sexual neglect and discrimination. For information on working with this issue or if you are interested in have a training for your agency, contact Dolores Haze.
